Attaching catalysts onto solid supports: The best of both worlds?

Catalysts increase the rate of chemical reactions without being consumed, making them useful for many things from plastics to medicines. But removing them is complicated. This article explains the considerations when attaching catalysts onto supports to more easily remove them at the end of the reaction.
